Food safety

Allergens & Cross-contamination prevention

The top 9 allergens in the United States are wheat, soy, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, eggs, and sesame.

All ingredients contained in each of our products are listed on the label, but for more detailed information please see below. If you have any questions about our process or allergens not listed here, please contact us.

Wheat

All of our standard baking mixes and baked goods are made using naturally white wheat flour.

Wheatless Mixes

Although our wheatless muffin and pancake mixes are made using gluten-free flour, they are produced in a facility that also produces wheat-based products. Because of this, we do not recommend them for those with severe wheat or gluten allergies or severe gluten sensitivity.

The gluten-free flour we use is Bob’s Red Mill 1-to-1 Gluten Free Baking Flour (sweet white rice flour, whole grain brown rice flour, potato starch, whole grain sweet white sorghum flour, tapioca flour, xanthan gum)

Gluten-Free Cookies

We now have cookies from Good Hope Bakery! These cookies are individually wrapped and made in a dedicated gluten-free facility.

Peanuts & Tree Nuts

Several of our muffin mixes, scone mixes, and baked goods contain peanut butter or tree nuts. These are listed in the ingredients as well as the front label.

Our products are prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with peanuts or tree nuts.

Dairy & Soy

Several of our muffin mixes, scone mixes, and baked goods contain dairy and soy. For mixes, this is only in chips: milk/semisweet/dark/white chocolate chips and caramel bits contain dairy and soy lecithin, and peanut butter chips contain soybean oil and soy lecithin. These are listed in the ingredients as well as the front label.

Our products are prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with dairy and soy.

Eggs

None of our mixes contain eggs, but they are present in some of our baked goods. This is listed on the ingredients label.

Our products are prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with eggs.

Sesame, Fish, & Shellfish

None of our products contain sesame, fish, or shellfish.

All our products are produced in a facility that occasionally contains sesame, fish, or shellfish.
