Oven S'mores

​Time for s'more summer treats, this week Mary Mac is talking about S'mores! There's some history, classic s'more directions, and oven s'mores for when you're in a s'more emergency (or just don't want to light a fire)

Ingredients

• 1 rimmed baking sheet (half sheet)
• 1 ½ boxes graham crackers
• 1 6-pack chocolate bars (5 bars)
• 1 bag mini marshmallows
• Parchment Paper
• Waxed paper
• Tape

Directions

• Put your oven rack in the second slot down from the top
• Line the baking sheet with parchment paper
• Carefully break graham crackers in half and place the squares on the lined baking sheet. It should hold 30
• Top each cracker with two rectangles of chocolate (1 square)
• Place in the oven under the broiler for 1 ½ minutes to start melting the chocolate
• When the chocolate is just starting to get shiny, carefully remove from the oven
• Cover with mini marshmallows and return to oven for 1 ½ minutes to toast the marshmallows
• Remove from oven and carefully place halved graham crackers on top of the marshmallows, lining up the crackers so it makes a sandwich
• Wrap each s’more in waxed paper and tape the seam, or just eat them all!
